Dr. Beth Hoven, Au.D., FAAA

Hearing Professionals of Alabama is co-owned and operated by Dr. Beth Hoven, a licensed and certified audiologist.  Dr. Hoven graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Communicative Disorders from the University of Alabama and received her Doctorate of Audiology from Auburn University. 

Dr. Hoven has gained audiological experience through her years spent as a clinical audiologist for an Alabama ear, nose and throat physician group, where she provided diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing and balance disorder services.  She also serves as PRN audiologist for the Newborn Hearing Screening Program at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.  Dr. Hoven has served as an audiology adjunct lecturer at Auburn University.  She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.  Dr. Hoven has always had a desire to open her own private audiology practice where patients could receive quality hearing healthcare in a relaxed and easy-to-access environment. 

Dr. Hoven is a native of Leroy, Alabama, a small town in southwest Alabama.  She resides in Auburn, and is an active member of Church of the Highlands.  Dr. Hoven volunteers with the Junior League of Lee County, and serves as a board member for Distinguished Young Women of Lee County scholarship program.  She enjoys attending Auburn sporting events, and spending time with her husband and 2 daughters.
