Hearing Professionals of Alabama

48 million people in the United States alone experience hearing loss. Whether it is you or your loved one who has hearing loss, you aren't in it alone!

Hearing Professionals of Alabama is a caring practice of licensed, certified audiologists who are committed to providing the most comprehensive and professional audiological care for individuals of all ages. We specialize in identifying, diagnosing, treating, monitoring and preventing hearing disorders. It is important to us that we offer continuity of care, from the initial diagnosis to treatment including hearing aids, cochlear implants and more. We want to make sure that everyone in East Alabama has somewhere close to home where they can access the reliable and expert care they need.

As audiologists, we've undergone rigorous training and a doctoral graduate program to ensure that we have the expertise to understand and treat even the most severe or complicated hearing loss situations. We match our medical knowledge with compassionate care.

Your First Appointment

  1. You will arrive and be greeted by our friendly staff, and fill out some brief paperwork. It's important to us that you're comfortable while you wait!
  2. We will bring you back into our office and talk about why you're here. We like to get to know you before we test your hearing, and we want to make sure you have an opportunity to share any problems you've been experiencing.
  3. Next, we will test your hearing. We'll walk you through the process so you always know what's going on.
  4. We will explain the results of your hearing evaluation in depth and answer any questions you have.
  5. If it looks like you will benefit from hearing aids, we will demonstrate some in-office. This will give you an idea of what they can do for you and what they look like.
  6. If we decide that hearing aids are right for you, we will discuss options that fit your lifestyle and budget. At the end of the day, it's not about the hearing aids we're selling, it's about improving your quality of life.

Your Child's First Appointment

Appointments with children can vary because all children are so different! Babies, toddlers, and school-aged children all require different testing approaches. We have experience with every age group and can tailor our testing approach to your child's age, personality, and needs. Some children are more comfortable than others and may only need 20 minutes for their appointment, but we are prepared to take our time so we can put your child at ease.
